Here are some final photos of a new 16′ x 20 deck and switchback landing that we are building in Chesterfield Co.

The deck has Earthwood Evolutions Timbertech flooring installed with hidden fasteners, PVC accent boards and composite railings.

Framing for the deck will have 6 x 6 support post with vinyl sleeves, 2 x 10 band and beams and 2 x 8 floor joist.

Rail supports still utilize 4 x 4 pressure treated post and have a composite sleeve installed over them.

The rails have a square balusters and are available with 2 other picket styles.

Here are a few photos of  the recently completed window, deck and insulated vinyl siding project.

We replaced the rear deck with a new pressure treated deck.

Installed Revere Blueprint new construction vinyl windows in the entire home.

We then removed all of the existing vinyl siding and aluminum trim so we could install new Alside Prodigy insulated vinyl siding in the color of Sage.

All of the existing aluminum and vinyl trim was removed and new vinyl soffit and PVC coated trim.

This project will include a new deck, new windows and insulated vinyl siding. We will start with the deck and see if there is any rotten sill plates and flash properly before we start the siding.

The existing deck is a 12′ x 20′ with a 4′ wide set of steps. The new deck will be 16′ x 20′ using traditional pressure treated. Support post are 6 x 6′s. Beams and bands are 2 x 10′s that are either single or doubled depending on design requirements. Floor joist are 2 x 8′s spanning no greater than 10′ at 16″ on center. Decking is a premium 5/4″ deck boards that will be ran perpendicular to the rear of the home.  All fasteners will be hot dipped galvanized.  Post for the handrails are 4 x 4 post and 44″” in height for future post caps.

Now that the framing is completed the roof shingles are now being installed.

The rood shingles are a matching Owens Corning driftwood 3 tab asphalt shingle.

All of our new roof projects include ice and waters shield at overhangs, felt on the field, aluminum flashing, ridge vent and cap shingles.

Our roof projects are also nailed down. No staples are used to install our finished shingle products.

The new maintenance free screen porch will be 16′ x 16′ and will have a 10′ x 16′ deck.

Our Sliding porch panels will be installed on the exterior of this porch.

We first removed the existing pressure treated deck from the home.

Footings are dug to a depth of 18″-24″ and are inspected by an outside engineering firm.

Concrete and block will be installed in footings for porch support.

Support post will be 6 x 6 pressure treated post.

Beams, band and floor joist are 2 x 10 spaced at 16″ on center.

Screen is installed over the floor joist and Premium Cox #1 kiln dried decking.

The beam work is doubled 2 x 8′s and is supported by vinyl sleeved 6 x 6 post.

Rafters are 2 x 8′s spaced at 16″ on center.
