Here are final photos of a porch conversion in Richmond Va
This is a 3 season room project was completed a few years ago and we are now changing the space into a finished living space.
Adding new construction windows, removing vinyl siding, alter existing framing and adding HVAC ducts to this porch are part of what we are doing on this project.
During the 1st project we knew that we were going to convert the space into a continuation of the home so we installed insulation and other modifications that would make this phase less costly.
Sheetrock has a 1/2″ thickness and is installed on all walls inside of the new room.
Interior primer and paint was applied by RBM and colors were supplied by the home owner.

New replacement windows installed in Rainey funeral home.
Our windows meet Energy star ratings and are custom made to field determined sizes. Vinyl replacement windows take approximately 10 days – 2 weeks to arrive from the manufacturer. Windows depending on manufacturer come in many color options and may have as much as 8 different types of grid options, dual locks, night latches, full or 1/2 screens. This particular project has a white vinyl all welded construction which means no mechanical fasteners are used to fasten the parts and pieces of the frames together. Windows have a 1/2 screen and contoured grids. We first confirm the window size and remove the existing window sashes. All rotten wood is replaced around the opening as needed to ensure no hidden cosmetic or structural damage. Now we install the new window using shims, screws, insulation and caulking. Custom formed aluminum trim is then applied to the exterior window casing for a clad exterior. Cladding can be done in a host of different colors. We then caulk both the inside and the outside of the new window and trimming. Call us for a free quote as windows range greatly in price and features are pretty consistent.

Below is a before and after photo of a recently completed window repair that we completed in Amelia Va.
The center window of this triple window was broken out by the dreaded “rock from the lawn mower”.
We measure the existing glass and had a new piece of insulated glass made for installation.
Installation process includes removing cap bead and the existing glass, the glass seat is sealed and new insulated glass panel is set.
Finally the cap bead is installed and the window is cleaned.
